Ron Sass founded THE COVERT EYE in 2007 while winding down his career in network engineering. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, Ron followed his first career path in journalism to Phoenix, Arizona, where he worked a number of years as a news reporter. Married to wife, Inna, they and their son continue to reside in "The Valley of the Sun."
"Although I was ready to retire from the corporate world, I wasn't ready to stop working completely. However, finding the right endeavor to pursue was important, as I wanted something which I felt I could make a difference at. For that, I didn't need to look past my own family. Both my mother and sister live alone back in Michigan, and with the reported increase of break-ins and other crimes due to a weakened economy, my concern is for their safety and well-being. Yet living 2,000 miles away prevents me from giving immediate help or assistance if needed. Likewise, my wife is from Russia (now a proud new U.S. citizen) and is still learning her way around the city. Many nights she and our son have also been left alone at home because of my work. That is when I decided to create The Covert Eye and offer the latest and best selling security and personal protection products on the market today."

Shipping – Most all orders are shipped UPS Ground. If you want faster shipping, that’s no problem. Just specify the shipping method you prefer (2nd Day Air, or Next Day Air) in the shipping options when you check out. There is a $17.50 - $50 additional charge for upgraded shipping on average, depending on size, weight and distance traveled. When you specify a method for upgraded shipping, the cost of that shipping will be added to your order.
