The other most popular ninja item we have is the climbing gear. The hand claws and the foot spikes are for those adventurous types who would like to climb a tree like a ninja would. The grappling hook is another item ninjas would use. The grappling hook has a 33 foot rope attached to it so that you can throw it over a branch or a wall ledge and then climb up the rope. You wouldn't use the hand claws while you're using the grappling hook with rope though.

The Ninja kubotan heart attack is another item that is pretty popular. It is a regular kubotan but has a bar on it that fit through your fingers. This would make it a dangerous punching weapon. As with all dangerous products and weapons we carry, you should exercise extreme caution when using or practicing with these items. Obviously, you wouldn't go around punching a real person with a bladed kubotan but the novelty of these items are what makes them so popular.
Traditional nunchaku are made from a strong, flexible hardwood such as oak, logquat or pasania. Originally, the wood would be submerged in mud for several years, where lack of oxygen and optimal acidity prevented rotting and caused the wood to harden. The rope is made from horsehair. Finally, the wood is very finely sanded and rubbed with an oil or stain for preservation. Today, such nunchaku are often varnished or painted for display purposes.
