These authentic steel ninja throwing stars (shurikens) are an ancient weapon of choice used to inflict damage and injury from a distance. Accurately throwing these shurikens were a hallmark of the Japanese Ninja.

Throwing stars owe their mystical legend back to the time of the Ninjas warriors. These stars, commonly referred to as the “Shuriken” (shu-ri-ken), is an Oriental term that is roughly translated as the “hand hidden blade,” also sometimes referred to in the West as the throwing stars. Used for centuries in Japan and China, they consist of no more than a flat piece of steel with 3 or more points. Whether you throw overhand, sidearm, underhand, or backhand, the Shuriken will penetrate its target on at least one point every time.

The sets of four ninja stars are sharp and should only be used after gaining experience with these types of martial arts weapons. Ninja throwing spikes are available also.
Ninja throwing stars or shurikens are a lot of fun to practice with. You can make a contest out of seeing who can stick the star into the smallest grouping or see who can hit center of the target most consistently.
