“The reality is one of five women will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime,” said Mindy Lin, co-founder of the company with Bethany Hughes, both victims of a sexual assault. “It's very personal to both of us but makes us passionate in the sense that the statistics are so high. We both have daughters, and we want to make a difference with women in their ability to prepare themselves and arm themselves.”
