GREENE COUNTRY SHERIFF'S OFFICE WILL GET TASERS FOR THE FIRST TIME

A local sheriff's office in Tennessee will soon get a powerful new tool for stopping criminals in their tracks. Monday, the Greene County Commission approved a plan to purchase 27 tasers for the Greene County Sheriff's Office.

Former Greeneville Police detective and current Greene County Mayor David Crum said, "these are important tools for the officer to have for their safety."
