The shaft on the aluminum tonfa is made from thick-walled hollow aluminum to keep it both light and strong, and the tips are given endcaps to give the appearance of a solid look. At 27 ounces each, these metal tonfa will give you a real workout. By comparison, a wooden tonfa will weigh around a pound. This added weight gives you more heft and enhances your martial arts training. We've designed these metal training tonfas to have the dimensions of a typical 20-inch tonfa.
